Clean and replace the water in the vase everyday and trim the stems at a 45-degree angle about 1 inch from the bottom to increase the surface area for water absorption. Most importantly, keep your flowers in a cool area, away from direct sunlight heating vents and appliances that emit heat. Extreme temperatures can cause the flowers to wilt more quickly.
